Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
• Solid experience with Python in a web application context, familiarity with frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask (FastAPI used at Lendable)
• Experience with Javascript/Typescript and modern JS frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js (React & NextJS preferred)
• Strong engineering principles and practices including design patterns, testing, clean code, and code reviewing
• Previous experience working in a product-focused team
• Keen desire to learn and collaborate within a team
• Use of AI tools like Copilot, Cursor, or Claude in daily coding

Nice to Haves

• Exposure to Domain Driven Design, Message-Driven Systems, and Event Sourcing
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS
• SQL knowledge and ability to navigate data schemas
• Experience shipping containerised software with Argo, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform

What You'll Be Doing

• Working within the Central Operations team across core products (Cards, Loans, Motor) addressing shared operational challenges
• Building internal web applications and automations to support Operations teams delivering efficient, scalable customer outcomes
• Collaborating closely with Product, Data Science, and Analytics teams to deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance operational workflows
• Taking real ownership of engineering initiatives, shipping features used daily by Operations teams
• Shaping the tools and technical direction within an evolving operational space
