Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field OR equivalent experience.
• Technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including passing the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice to Haves

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years experience or equivalent.
• Proven experience developing and deploying large language models (LLMs), including training and fine-tuning.
• Practical experience with prompt engineering and evaluation to improve model outputs.
• Knowledge of agent-based architectures and related frameworks/technologies (e.g., MCP, A2A protocol, Langchain, Azure AI Foundry).
• Proficiency in Python for data science workflows and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and Jupyter.
• Experience with deep neural network training and inference, and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience in web application development frameworks, such as React.
• Experience delivering Cloud SaaS products on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines and partner teams.

• Implement, evaluate, and deploy AI-powered applications and services.
• Develop and fine-tune large language models and other deep learning models.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code for model training, evaluation, and inference pipelines.
• Optimize AI models for performance, latency, and cost efficiency in production.
• Apply prompt engineering to enhance model outputs and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into products.
• Stay current with emerging research, tools, and frameworks in AI/ML to drive innovation.
• Conduct experiments, analyze results, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
