Research Engineer, Data Infrastructure

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Data Infrastructure, MLOps, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Experience or a strong interest in supporting foundational compute and storage platforms
• Proficiency in Python and experience with modern, columnar storage standards
• Well-versed in Kubernetes-native tooling and debugging large-scale distributed systems
• Experience in building and operating scalable, reliable, and secure systems
• Comfortable with ambiguity and challenges of building high-scale infrastructure in a rapid-growth AI environment

• Building & Scale: Help operate massive distributed compute and storage systems
• Global Orchestration: Architect and maintain multi-cluster orchestration layers
• Design Future-Proof Storage: Architect transition to modern storage formats
• Platform Engineering: Contribute to the development of internal training platform
• Metadata & Lineage: Implement and manage systems for clear visibility and lineage
• Operational Excellence: Manage cloud-native deployments for scalable data platform
