Requirements

• Solid web development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with the ability to debug real-world site breakage.
• Fluency with browser developer tools and cross-browser diagnosis.
• Comfortable using AI tooling to speed up diagnosis and fixes.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Gecko (Mozilla's browser engine) is a strong plus, but can be learned on the job.
• Prior experience with WebCompat or web standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Finishing or verifying the diagnosis of long-tail WebCompat bugs.
• Writing WebCompat interventions when appropriate.
• Creating simple, AI-assisted fixes and landing them.
• Reproducing and triaging incoming site-breakage reports.
