What you'll be doing

Help implement Storage Encryption everywhere within the Firefox DOM LWS team.
Contribute to delivering Storage Encryption Everywhere in Gecko, including tasks like data migration, implementing storage in PBM, and integration testing.
Write and pass Web Platform Tests, and add Gecko tests as needed.
Participate in code review with Gecko module owners and iterate to successful landing.
Identify and help resolve specification questions arising from implementation.
Manage the feature through Nightly, Beta, and Release stages, fixing correctness, performance issues, and regressions.
Ship Storage Encryption Everywhere to the release channel and address triaged and prioritized issues.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in C++.
Substantial experience working within a browser-engine codebase, ideally Firefox/Gecko.
Significant experience with databases.
Familiarity with web standards and Web Platform Tests.
Strong debugging and optimization skills in a multithreaded codebase.
Comfortable working openly with public bugs, code review, and upstream code landing.
