What you'll be doing

• Help the Firefox DOM Core team improve the health of the Session History area
• Write Web-Platform tests and Gecko mochitests to improve coverage
• Fix problems and pass tests to enhance Gecko correctness
• Work through code reviews with relevant Gecko module owners and iterate to landing

Requirements

• Substantial experience in a browser-engine codebase or automating for a browser-engine, ideally Firefox/Gecko
• Solid JavaScript skills applied to writing automated tests
• Proficiency and experience in developing software using C++
• Strong debugging skills in a mature large codebase
• Comfort working in the open with public bugs, code review, and upstream landing

Nice to haves

• Prior contributions to Gecko or another major browser engine
• Familiarity with web standards and Web Platform Tests
