What you'll be doing

• Help improve the health of the Session History area in the Firefox DOM Core team.
• Write Web-Platform tests and Gecko mochitests to improve coverage.
• Fix problems and ensure tests pass to enhance Gecko correctness.
• Collaborate through code reviews with relevant Gecko module owners and iterate to landing.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in a browser-engine codebase or browser-engine automation, ideally Firefox/Gecko.
• Solid Javascript skills applied to writing automated tests.
• Proficiency and experience developing software in C++.
• Strong debugging skills in a mature large codebase.
• Comfort working openly with public bugs, code reviews, and upstream landing.

Nice to haves

• Prior contributions to Gecko or another major browser engine.
• Familiarity with web standards and Web Platform Tests.
