What You'll Do

Improve the ease of use and security of Firefox in large deployments by developing better administration and monitoring tools.
Enhance Firefox functionality through better integration with remote services.
Assess and recommend priorities supporting the team and product roadmap.
Collaborate with a geographically-distributed development team.

Requirements

8+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience developing robust services using modern best practices.
Strong software engineering fundamentals including modularity, abstraction, data structures, and algorithms.
Proficiency in Rust and JavaScript programming languages.
Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and/or non-relational).
Excellent communication skills and experience working on distributed teams.
Pragmatic approach to balancing timeframes, trade-offs, and safeguards when implementing new functionality.
Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and approaches.
