Principal Data Engineer

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience designing and building production data solutions
• Track record of architectural ownership and designing end-to-end data solutions
• Expert-level SQL and data transformation skills
• Deep experience with Databricks, Lakehouse architectures, or comparable modern data technologies
• Experience implementing governance at scale
• Experience building trusted business-facing data products within specific domains

What You'll Be Doing

• Architect and own delivery of shared data products across various business functions
• Build and evolve the semantic layer for reporting and analytics
• Design and build scalable data pipelines and models
• Implement governance capabilities end-to-end
• Drive DataHub adoption by defining metadata standards
• Translate complex requirements into production-grade data solutions
• Set engineering standards for the team through code quality
• Partner with the data team to improve CI/CD and data quality
