Platform Engineer - Infra & Cloud Delivery , L4 (f/m/d)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer - ideally with SRE, platform, devops, or cloud engineering background.
• Experience with SaaS software development in distributed systems using programming languages such as Typescript, Java/Kotlin, Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions/GitOps tools).
• You have a solid tactical mindset and can connect your work with high-level strategies set by engineering management and senior engineers.
• You have excellent written and spoken English (level C1/C2 on the CEFR scale).

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with cloud & infra concepts - AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog.
• You can demonstrate a high-quality bar regarding operational best practices.
• You understand how to utilize metrics to define and measure the impact of your work.
• You embrace new ways of working and are excited about how we can adopt AI-powered workflows using agents, skills & agentic feedback loops.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage the company's AWS account structure, organization & permission boundaries.
• Manage central infrastructure as code solutions.
• Support the SDLC at Personio by maintaining and operating GitOps based continuous delivery pipelines.
• Operate and maintain EKS clusters across all environments.
• Document platform capabilities and run internal training sessions when necessary.
• Drive technical excellence with a design-led mindset.
• Take ownership of operational responsibilities for platform services within your domain, including on-call participation.
