Software Engineer, Treasury Technology

Requirements

• Demonstrable production experience building applications using .NET technologies, with proficiency in C# or F# and experience across both .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Willingness and ability to extend, maintain, and refactor legacy .NET Framework systems, including margin calculation or financing platforms
• Proven ability to execute full software development lifecycle activities in complex, multi-team environments, including design, testing, and deployment
• Demonstrable experience designing and implementing RESTful services using ASP.NET Core, including server-side pagination models for large datasets
• Demonstrable experience building single-page applications in JavaScript using established libraries, with experience in TypeScript, React, ag-grid, and Highcharts
• Strong knowledge of serialization protocols and of authentication and authorization mechanisms used in distributed applications
• Experience integrating backend services with UI components and data analytics workflows to deliver actionable insights to end users
• Strong debugging and production support skills, including troubleshooting performance and reliability issues in live systems
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to shape product vision for UI-driven products and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and own core full-stack systems that deliver workflow automation, data, and analytics used daily by Point72’s Global Treasury professionals, with clear opportunities to shape product direction and impact firm-wide workflows
• Lead high-profile projects across the full development lifecycle, from technical design and specification to implementation, testing, and deployment into a complex production environment
• Design and implement responsive single-page user interfaces that surface large financial datasets and analytics to end users, driving usability and decision-making
• Develop and maintain backend services using modern .NET technologies, optimizing APIs for performance, scalability, and server-side pagination to support large result sets
• Extend and modernize existing margin calculation and financing platforms written on legacy frameworks while making targeted migrations to newer frameworks where appropriate
• Collaborate closely with treasury professionals, quantitative analysts, and other technology teams to translate business requirements into reliable, testable technical solutions
• Contribute reusable components, libraries, and engineering practices to the team’s collective technology assets to accelerate delivery and reduce technical debt
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, improve system observability, and implement monitoring and alerting to increase platform reliability
• Mentor peers, participate in code reviews, and drive architectural and user experience discussions to continuously improve product quality and development practices
