Requirements

Strong expertise in Linux (preferably Red Hat–based distributions)
Experience building and administering large-scale or latency-sensitive platforms
Extensive experience with architecture and long-term evolution of automation and configuration management systems (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Splunk, Elastic, Prometheus, Grafana)
Experience with build/release management systems
Solid programming skills in Python and Bash (C/C++ is a plus)
Detailed understanding of server network stack, network protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP, IGMP, LAN and WAN technologies)
Experience of performance analysis and tuning
Experience working in a collaborative development environment using source control
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and teamwork skills

What You'll Be Doing

Manage and evolve QRT’s Linux platform to support global trading environments
Work with application and support teams to maintain a secure and scalable infrastructure
Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks, tools, and processes
Contribute to the development of monitoring and observability capabilities
Analyse and tune performance across systems, networks, and applications
Support build/release management processes
Collaborate within a version-controlled development environment
