Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or other science or technical field
• Experience with distributed message-based systems and server-side software development with proven product delivery success
• Proficiency in Python and the Python scientific stack
• Experience across the full software development life cycle and familiarity with agile development
• Willingness to learn new technologies and propose novel technical solutions
• Ability to self-manage, self-motivate, and seek process improvement opportunities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with quantitative researchers and engineers
• Attention to detail and adaptability to changing priorities
• Willingness to assist in deployment and maintenance of production software

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of key finance and trading concepts applied to systems development
• Basic understanding of networking and operating systems (Linux and Windows)
• Experience in UI/UX design
• Familiarity with web services and development frameworks
• Experience in Java, C#, or other object-oriented programming languages
• Interest or experience in statistics
• Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing

What You'll Be Doing

• Contribute as a part of the Options trading strategy development team
• Maintain and continuously improve a Python-based platform enabling quantitative researchers to efficiently interact with trading systems
• Enable powerful and fast data analysis and studies through platform enhancements
• Collaborate with Traders, Quantitative Researchers, and other Strategy Developers to facilitate new trading behaviors
• Work with large datasets to develop and maintain production-quality data pipelines
