Network Specialist - ULL

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical or Computer engineering, Computer Science or related Information Technology discipline
• CCIE Routing & Switching (Enterprise Infrastructure) certified including lab
• Minimum of 8 years of network engineering and project delivery experience
• Extensive knowledge of routing and switching protocols
• Proficient in a scripting language - Python preferred
• Trade flow analysis: Understanding protocols used by various exchanges

What You'll Be Doing

• Architect, engineer, and aid in initial deployment of ultra-low latency network infrastructure at Colocation data centres (DC)
• Ensure comprehensive operational control and reporting, providing actionable information to optimize the performance of the trading infrastructure. Build/update procedures and documentation
• Escalation point to support changes to the global collocation environment in all Squarepoint co-location sites and data centres. Travel may be required
• Provide L3 escalation support to remediate performance and availability issues
• Identify areas for generating efficiencies adopting automation and innovative solutions for improvements

• The minimum base salary for this role is $120,000 if located in New York
• This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, which could constitute a significant portion of total compensation
