Engineering Lead - Global Currencies

Requirements:

• You have a strong product mindset, consistently prioritizing customer needs and making data-driven decisions.
• You have experience as a tech lead or manager, with a proven track record of guiding and developing engineers, fostering their growth, and building high-performing, autonomous agile teams.
• You demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, have excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.
• You have extensive experience with Java (8+) or Kotlin, including proficiency with the Spring framework and understanding of microservice best practices.
• You are skilled in working with relational databases, including query optimization and designing robust schemas.
• You are a strong advocate for best coding practices, enjoy writing testable code, and actively participate in code reviews and open feedback.
• Ultimately, you're someone who gets things done and consistently delivers results.

Nice to have:

• You have experience with the Swift network and related services (FIN, GPI), or familiarity with the ISO20022 standard.
• You have experience building highly reliable and highly available systems.

• As a tech lead, you will be responsible for the quality of your team’s technical solutions, including code quality, architecture applicability, performance, reliability, and adherence to company-wide engineering standards.
