Requirements

Solid engineering background in Python with experience in production and maintenance of solutions
High coding standards including knowledge of test coverage best practices and the test pyramid concept
Experience deploying microservices to cloud-based systems
Experience designing and implementing distributed and concurrent systems with understanding of stateful/stateless and synchronous/asynchronous tradeoffs
Knowledge and experience with LLMs and building LLM-based applications
Experience with agentic frameworks and designing agentic-based workflows
Experience collaborating with product teams to build ideas into production
Up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in the AI industry
Knowledge of Prompt Engineering best practices
Ability to take initiative, identify problems, empathise with stakeholders, create plans and implement solutions collaboratively
Strong communication skills including mentoring junior engineers and seeking feedback

Solid engineering background in Typescript/Javascript and experience building performant UIs or using TS/JS AI frameworks

Security and privacy advocacy with understanding of principles like least privilege applied to infrastructure and applications
