What you'll be doing

Take ownership of critical multiplier-type projects that significantly enhance codebase management and automation capabilities.
Collaborate closely with platform and product teams, engineers, leads, and product managers to deliver impactful tooling solutions.
Prototype solutions quickly and efficiently, adopting a "quick and dirty" approach initially and refining them into robust, scalable tools once the optimal approach is identified.
Work alongside other engineers in the team, fostering a collaborative culture.
Provide feedback on technical design decisions and help the team make data-driven decisions.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in backend programming languages like Java, Python, or Go.
Passion for building at scale, having worked on high-throughput systems to ensure fast and reliable services.
Deep interest in system design with a platform-focused mindset rather than just feature development.
Desire to build meaningful infrastructure that enables others, not just shipping individual code.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience working in fintech or high-trust domains such as risk, identity, or compliance.
Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka.
