Requirements

7+ years experience building scalable distributed backend applications.
Strong understanding of web application components: databases, load balancers, application servers, message brokers, caching, monitoring.
Good understanding of network protocols and stacks.
Good understanding of database technologies including classic and modern NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms.
Multilingual programming experience, primarily Ruby with migration towards Go and Rust.
Excellent debugging, analytical, problem solving, and social skills.
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Readiness to work remotely with globally distributed teams across timezones.

Own projects end-to-end from design to production support.
Conduct code reviews focusing on correctness, concurrency safety, and performance.
