Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in Python or TypeScript focusing on API integrations, backend services, or scripting.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code to author, refactor, and debug production code.
• Strong experience working with REST APIs, JSON/YAML schemas, and structured data transformations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Haves

• Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with non-technical domain experts and translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Solid understanding of generative AI, prompt engineering, function calling, structured outputs, and agentic specifications such as Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Ability to dissect complex domain scripts or unstructured documentation and refactor them into modular, testable, production-ready code.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests, mocking API dependencies, and debugging schema mismatches.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with domain experts and senior consultants across business units to translate complex business logic and scripts into structured AI skill definitions.
• Operate AI-assisted development tools to generate, refactor, and refine prompt logic, tool descriptions, and MCP tool calls.
• Integrate AI skills with backend systems by connecting REST APIs, MCP servers, and complex data structures for agent execution.
• Optimize and modularize business logic to improve prompt efficiency and execution reliability.
• Design and implement automated test suites to stress-test edge cases, API parameters, fallback logic, and error handling.
• Establish authoring best practices, train domain experts, and review skill pull requests for compliance and integrity.
• Partner with Domain Experts to implement evaluation-driven development, including benchmark datasets, LLM scoring, and quality gates to ensure skill accuracy.
• Use production telemetry and drift analysis to identify failures, update benchmarks, and improve deterministic behavior of AI skills.
