Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in cloud security, infrastructure security, or related roles
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks, and best practices
• Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and associated security services
• Experience securing hybrid AWS/on-premises or multi-cloud environments, including IAM and security posture
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with containerization technologies and related security
• Knowledge of network security concepts and protocols
• Experience with scripting languages like Python and Bash for automation and tool development
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Located in the EU/UK or willing to relocate

Nice to Haves

• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CCSP, CSSK, AWS Security Specialty)
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes and container security
• Experience with multi-cloud environments and cloud-to-cloud security
• Knowledge of CI/CD best practices and tools
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements like GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and NIST CSF
• Strong proficiency with Python, Terraform, and configuration management tools like Puppet

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing and implementing secure cloud architectures across multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Building and securing mission-critical applications in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
• Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code templates with security controls embedded
• Performing regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure and services
• Implementing and managing cloud security tools and services such as CSPM, CWPP, and CASB
• Managing identities and roles effectively across cloud and hybrid environments
• Monitoring and remediating infrastructure to comply with regulations and best practices like PCI, NIST CSF, GDPR, and HIPAA
• Designing and implementing secure container standards and automation to enable frictionless developer workflows
• Maintaining Kubernetes security aligned with current best practices
• Collaborating with development teams to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines
• Securing and enhancing CI/CD pipelines and integrating code scanning platforms
• Monitoring and responding to security events and incidents in cloud and hybrid environments
• Maintaining SIEM data pipelines for reliable alerting
• Building, deploying, and maintaining security operations infrastructure using Python, Terraform, and configuration management tools like Puppet
• Developing dashboards and alerts based on security metrics
• Creating and maintaining cloud security policies, standards, and procedures
• Owning security projects end to end by identifying issues and implementing solutions
