What you'll be doing

Translate business needs into clear, well scoped requirements to ensure models answer relevant questions
Build and maintain robust data models and exposures using dbt, Snowflake, and Looker with AI-assisted development
Review and debug SQL critically, including AI-generated code, ensuring trustworthy models with documented decisions
Extend trust infrastructure with tests, data contracts, and observability to keep models and pipelines reliable
Integrate data from third-party sources like Amplitude, Segment, and Google Ads; create secure data shares for partners
Enable self-service in BI tools allowing business users to independently answer questions
Improve data platform, tooling, and ways of working, including AI integration into workflows

Requirements

1 to 3 years of Analytics Engineering experience or similar role
Strong proficiency in SQL including reading, writing, debugging, and critically reviewing queries (including AI-generated)
Familiarity with modern data platforms and tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Looker, AWS or GCP, Git version control, and optionally Python
Meticulous attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills and a habit of validating data accuracy
Commercial curiosity to understand business context and connect data work to outcomes
Ability to work AI-first: daily use of AI, quick experimentation, curiosity, and ownership of rapid learning
