Requirements

2+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
Proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
Familiarity with distributed systems and technologies such as AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
Ability to write high quality, clear, and maintainable code.
Comfort navigating large code bases, debugging, and providing code review feedback.
Capability to translate business scenarios into multi-component software solutions.
Owns personal growth by seeking feedback and development opportunities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
Must be based in Spain; visa sponsorship available.

What You'll Be Doing

Break down large projects into tasks and deliver them in phases with team support.
Collaborate across product management, design, and analytics during product development.
Create and monitor operational metrics, support on-call rotations and system availability.
Participate in team community activities including the interview process.
Support “keep the lights on” efforts to maintain system stability.

Contract of employment with base pay range €73,000 - €109,000 per year.
