Requirements

• Experience in engineering
• Experience in engineering team management
• Experience in planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the vision, strategy, and delivery for the RDS AWS Console experience, covering both the customer console and the internal operations console
• Lead the incorporation of agentic AI into the console: assistive guidance, contextual insights, and safe, scoped automated actions for customers and operators
• Build and deliver the next-generation internal operations console, modernizing and replacing legacy operator tooling
• Lead and grow several engineering teams; hire, develop, and retain strong managers and senior engineers
• Raise the bar on console usability, accessibility, performance, and safety across every RDS surface
