Requirements

3+ years of professional, non-internship software development experience
2+ years working in an Agile, startup, or rapidly scaling environment
Experience communicating technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Experience with agentic and spec-driven development (developing AI agents is a plus)
Experience with AI tools such as evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering

Experience working in customer production environments
Experience building or deploying AI/ML applications in production
Background as a founder, engineering lead, or startup builder with high ownership and urgency
Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, and/or Go
Experience interfacing with customers or leading technical projects with external stakeholders
Experience working with teams that build and scale end-to-end production systems
Experience with AWS services

Embed within customer engineering teams to design, build, deploy, and run AI-powered production systems
Translate customer requirements into technical designs for AI-enabled production systems
Build production AI applications including retrieval pipelines, workflow automation, API orchestration, and data integration
Solve complex problems with clarity and design simple, effective solutions
Own the full software development lifecycle including scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Troubleshoot production incidents and implement monitoring, evaluations, guardrails, and CI/CD to keep AI systems healthy
Mentor and train new team members, provide code reviews, and promote high-quality coding practices
Identify opportunities to expand AI adoption, codify reusable patterns, and improve software and team processes
Travel 30–50% to work closely with strategic enterprise customers
