Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building production-grade web applications, component libraries, or frontend platform infrastructure
• Deep hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, or AI developer assistants for code generation and workflow automation
• Experience designing intelligent AI pipelines and context-aware integrations
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ESNext), and React with modern React patterns
• Strong knowledge of modern CSS architectures including CSS Modules, Design Tokens, CSS variables, and animation patterns
• Experience with monorepos (Nx, Turborepo, Yarn/pnpm workspaces), module bundling (Webpack, Rollup, Vite, Module Federation), and CI/CD pipelines
• Focus on web accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), cross-browser compatibility, web performance, and automated testing
• Excellent English communication skills for articulating technical trade-offs, writing specs, and driving consensus

Nice to Haves

• Experience with enterprise localization frameworks (FormatJS, react-intl, i18next), CLDR/ICU standards, bidirectional/RTL layouts, or TMS synchronizations
• Hands-on experience with Micro-Frontend Architecture such as Module Federation and decoupled web runtimes
• Familiarity with client-side event tracking, product analytics (Pendo, Segment), or Telemetry/Real User Monitoring (RUM)

What You'll Be Doing

• Evolve global experience and localization infrastructure including i18n/l10n workflows and dynamic locale-switching
• Architect and scale core frontend platform systems, including modernizing Box’s UI design system and design token theming
• Champion AI-driven developer productivity via AI tools, coding agents, LLM-assisted migration workflows, and intelligent assistants
• Drive excellence in monorepo and tooling with modern build pipelines and package management to optimize developer workflows
• Provide cross-domain technical leadership partnering with product management, UX, architecture teams, and cross-functional teams
• Mentor peers, participate in architectural design reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation
