Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficient in Java
• Interest in security topics (authentication, identity, industry best practices, etc.)
• Experience building and operating high-scale, business-critical production services
• Ability to assess, communicate and complete project milestones with manager and team members in a time-sensitive manner
• Must speak English proficiently

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Scala, PHP, Python, JavaScript or other modern software development languages
• Practical experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes

What You'll Be Doing

• Attend and engage in daily stand ups and maintain sprint task statuses in issue tracking tool
• Attend weekly team, project, and manager 1:1 meetings
• Collaborate with Product Management to refine requirements and break down complex projects into deliverable units
• Work collaboratively with other engineers, team members, across teams, and partner organizations
• Respond to technical and behavioral feedback from manager and peers
• Play a role in developing and fostering Box culture
• Represent Box Poland internally and externally
• Participate in the production on-call rotation with team members
