What You'll Be Doing
Owning well-scoped features and improvements from design through production rollout and follow-up with support from teammates.
Developing and maintaining C++ code in a Chromium-based browser and contributing to distributed services and systems codebases using Go, Rust, and TypeScript.
Debugging failures across browser processes, Linux hosts, and distributed services using logs, metrics, traces, and profiling tools.
Improving session reliability, startup time, interactive latency, and resource efficiency, and validating these improvements with measurements.
Writing maintainable code, automated tests, and design notes and participating in code and design reviews.
Collaborating with teammates and partner teams to communicate trade-offs, blockers, and incorporate feedback.
Participating in production on-call rotation after onboarding and contributing to incident mitigation and follow-up improvements.
