Requirements

• Exceptional interpersonal skills for clear communication with stakeholders and engineers
• Strong track record in enterprise-scale software engineering projects
• Substantial prior interaction with front office and senior management in an active trading environment
• 2+ years of enterprise experience using Version Control, Git, Python/Java, and Linux
• Ability to work comfortably in multiple programming languages is a big plus
• 2-3 years of experience in front office, middle office, back office, or risk management roles dealing with exchange traded and OTC products
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent exposure
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, problem-solve, and implement solutions

What You'll Be Doing

• Take full ownership of software products from prototype to stable production
• Work closely with Cumberland Mining trading and operations stakeholders to deliver polished and ergonomic software solutions
• Build, maintain, and extend trading-related applications, data pipelines, and solutions
• Work with both greenfield and legacy systems across multiple languages, including Java and Python
• Provide on-call support as needed
