Engineering Manager

Requirements:

• Strong project management skills: experience building roadmaps, managing dependencies, and driving delivery predictability
• Technical background to engage in technical discussions and earn respect of engineers
• Experience leading, growing, and managing the performance of software engineers
• Track record of delivering software through a team
• People-leadership skills: coaching, feedback, conflict resolution
• Judgment in hiring and developing talent
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Based in Amsterdam or willing to relocate

What you'll be doing:

• Own the roadmap, manage priorities, and planning
• Develop engineers through career planning and coaching
• Lead team building, hiring, and resource allocation
• Manage team culture, morale, and productivity
• Hold one-on-ones, provide feedback, and invest in team building
• Translate technical and business requirements into clear delivery plans
• Act as a liaison between Engineering, Trading, and Quant teams
• Drive delivery predictability and improve team velocity
• Ensure alignment with organisational goals and delivery timelines
