Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
Software engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
Ability to handle ambiguity and understand key business needs with competing priorities.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Solid understanding of object-oriented design, coding patterns, and testing practices.
Strong industry experience collaborating on designing, developing, testing, and shipping large scale solutions.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements including passing Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire and every two years thereafter.

What you'll be doing

Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and Partners to deliver features with the right design and architecture.
Own and deliver complete feature areas and large-scale solutions including design, architecture, implementation, testing, debugging, and shipping with long-term support.
Write clean, well-thought-out code emphasizing quality, performance, simplicity, durability, scalability, reusability, and maintainability.
Commit to delivering the best experience for customers and partners, iterating based on qualitative and quantitative feedback.
Help create a diverse and inclusive culture, participate in hiring to enable everyone to bring their authentic self.
Take responsibility for reliable and uninterrupted operation of features with early detection of production issues.
Foster a data-driven approach including analyzing business requirements and using metrics to prove success.
Expose and resolve test coverage issues by organizing and implementing appropriate tests.
Gain working understanding of Microsoft businesses and collaborate with mentors and leaders for cohesive end-to-end customer experiences.
Participate in an on-call rotation.

Competitive base pay range for Software Engineering IC3: €63,400 - €105,700 per year (Ireland).
Competitive base pay range for Software Engineering IC4: €77,400 - €130,000 per year (Ireland).
