Requirements

Experience shipping production systems in Go.
Hands-on experience running and building parts of Kubernetes (operators, schedulers, controllers).
In-depth understanding of Linux, beyond managed services.
Experience running GPU workloads on Kubernetes or ability to quickly master the domain.
Developer mindset focused on building infrastructure code used by other engineers.
Extensive experience building backend or infrastructure systems.
Proven ability to collaborate with product, design, and business teams to ship software to real users.
Low-ego, team-first attitude valued by peers.

What You'll Be Doing

Designing and shipping the Kubernetes control plane architecture, including scheduling, operators, provisioning, and node lifecycle.
Owning the reliability of the Kubernetes control plane and responding to incidents.
Reducing provisioning time from physical metal to on-demand clusters through automation.
Collaborating with Product Managers to prioritize and scope initiatives with technical and business considerations.
Raising engineering standards through code reviews and knowledge sharing within the Cloud Platform organization.
