What you'll be doing

• Lead a growing engineering team of 20+ engineers with a hands-on leadership approach
• Bring strong technical expertise in large-scale distributed systems and guide teams through complex technical transitions
• Drive strategic technical decisions and lead cross-domain initiatives aligned with business and product goals
• Identify team improvements, propose solutions, and coordinate efforts to boost velocity and effectiveness
• Help shape domain vision, influence strategic direction, and set goals for product improvement
• Balance hands-on engineering with big picture thinking, mentoring and developing high performing teams
• Maintain a results-driven mindset focused on delivering impact at scale and speed

Requirements

• Strong leadership and team development skills including setting clear goals, providing feedback, mentoring, and supporting career growth
• 5+ years proven management experience hiring, retaining, and developing top engineering talent
• Hands-on experience building scalable, resilient, full stack systems across diverse environments
• Bias for action with a focus on moving fast without compromising quality and learning from mistakes
• Mentorship and teaching mindset to help engineers refine skills and take on new challenges
