Software Engineer 3, Atlas Growth 2

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with fluency in TypeScript/JavaScript, and experience with a modern framework (e.g. React)
• Proficiency in Java, Go, C++/C, or a similar compiled language is a plus
• Experience writing database queries, either document-based or relational
• Experience writing and reviewing technical specs, and leading small projects
• Interest in A/B testing or product design

What You'll Be Doing

• Contribute readable and well-tested code to ongoing projects
• Collaborate closely with product and design partners to implement and iterate on new customer facing features
• Write scope and technical spec docs for new projects assigned by your manager. Lead small working groups of two or three engineers for these projects
• Participate actively and constructively in code and document reviews
• Help product management identify improvements for features you own and drive them to completion
• Triage incoming support requests and alerts for products you own, and participate in group-wide on-call rotation once onboarded
