Requirements

• Experience in query language(s) and their implementation
• Knowledge of programming language(s) and their implementation
• Skills in compiler construction and code generation (LLVM, x86, or ARM)
• Understanding of managed runtimes and virtual machines (JVM or GraalVM)
• Background in database internals
• Expertise in parallel computing
• Experience with distributed computing
• Familiarity with hardware acceleration (GPGPUs, FPGAs, or Smart NICs)

What You'll Be Doing

• Participating in end-to-end development of a new database system architecture
• Designing and implementing the Aurendil prototype
• Evaluating and disseminating results to Neo4j product teams and academic research community
• Collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team of post-doctoral researchers
