What you’ll be doing

• Set technical direction for parts of the web platform and drive alignment across teams.
• Identify and execute on key leverage opportunities to improve quality, delivery speed, and reliability.
• Partner with product engineers and leads to design solutions that fit the wider ecosystem.
• Build and evolve internal tooling, frameworks, and golden paths that scale across teams.
• Improve reliability and usability of CI and local developer workflows.
• Coach and mentor engineers and help grow technical leadership in the frontend community.
• Contribute hands-on in code, balancing strategy with execution.

Requirements

• Experience building and maintaining complex web applications at scale.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and modern frontend engineering; React experience is a plus.
• Skill in designing maintainable systems, including frontend-facing APIs and platform boundaries.
• Strong understanding of testing practices and tooling (unit, integration, end-to-end) with a quality mindset.
• Experience with CI/CD and improving developer productivity through faster, more reliable feedback loops.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring practices for web systems (metrics, logging, tracing, alerting).
• Ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders with clear communication of tradeoffs.
