What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and grow a systems software engineering team, focusing on mentoring, career development, and fostering an inclusive culture of accountability.
• Translate product requirements and platform milestones into engineering sprints and ensure predictable execution for FlashBlade//EXA upgrade framework.
• Design and implement resilient upgrade workflows, including readiness checks, validation, verification, and automated rollback mechanisms.
• Enhance platform reliability with rigorous automated testing, continuous integration, and systematic triage across releases and development branches.
• Manage dependencies and coordinate cross-functional deliverables with core engineering, test infrastructure, product management, and support teams to mitigate risks.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and developing high-performing software engineering teams with a collaborative and accountable culture.
• Strong technical background in building high-throughput distributed systems and customer-facing software, with the ability to guide architecture and engineering decisions.
• Successful track record of driving cross-functional collaboration across geographically distributed teams including engineering, product, architecture, and security.
• Experience delivering complex products through full development lifecycle using Agile methodologies to improve focus, transparency, and predictability.
• Willingness to work onsite at the Prague office in compliance with company policies.
