Requirements

• Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Strong problem-solving skills and deep understanding of computer-science fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems
• Proven track record designing and delivering scalable systems in production environments

Nice to haves

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Deep understanding of servers, switches and operating systems
• Expertise in the synchronization and propagation of ultra-precise timing signals
• Knowledge of low-latency systems, trading environments, market data, or exchange protocols

What you'll be doing

• Participate in the team on-call rota with broad and deep responsibility for system design, deployment, configuration and daily operation
• Manage the physical infrastructure including servers, switches, storage, and specialized hardware platforms
• Oversee the trading application environment built from continuously deployed artifacts by developers and researchers
• Maintain the observability stack and the intent-driven system managing all elements as a single coherent system
• Interface with traders, researchers, application developers, internal teams, and external service providers
• Resolve complex issues in critical production environments, applying pragmatic fixes that evolve into engineered solutions
