Requirements

• 8+ years of related engineering experience, with a focus on reliability, infrastructure, or platform engineering
• Accountability for production systems
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Experience defining and operating against SLIs and SLOs
• Depth in production operations
• Record of preventing recurrence
• Experience driving changes across teams
• Improving engineers through mentorship
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems in a cloud environment

Nice to Haves

• Infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and GitOps-style delivery familiarity
• Experience with multi-region architecture and failure-domain design
• Background in chaos engineering or proactive resilience validation
