What you'll be doing

• Evolve and scale the recommendation platform and reward mechanisms for customers worldwide
• Build systems, APIs, and product experiences that shape the first experience of new customers

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java, Kotlin, or other JVM-based languages
• Strong experience with Spring framework, relational databases, distributed and concurrent systems (Kafka)
• Close collaboration with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers, and other product teams daily
• Experience writing testable code and utilizing testing strategies such as unit and integration testing
• Adherence to best coding practices, code reviews, and open feedback
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strive to improve team culture and processes
• Strong product mindset with a passion for customer experience and data-driven decision making
• Ability to work independently with end-to-end ownership and responsibility for projects
