What you'll be doing

• Design and scale distributed systems powering customer due diligence (CDD/EDD) and financial crime detection.
• Set technical strategy, make critical architectural decisions, and mentor senior talent.
• Partner with Product, Compliance, and Data Science teams to translate regulatory complexity into high-performance code.

Requirements

• 7+ years of deep Java expertise leveraging Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience building event-driven architectures with Kafka and SQL.
• Direct end-to-end product ownership—from initial design to live production metrics.
• Ability to communicate complex distributed architecture concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience with modern continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Nice to haves

• Prior experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), or fraud prevention domains.
