What you'll be doing

• Help evolve and scale the recommendation platform and reward mechanisms for customers worldwide
• Build systems, APIs, and product experiences shaping the first interaction for new customers

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Java or Kotlin (or other JVM based language)
• Strong experience with Spring framework, relational databases, distributed and concurrent systems (Kafka)
• Close collaboration with product managers, data scientists, data analysts, engineers, and other product teams on a daily basis
• Experience writing testable code and familiarity with testing strategies such as unit testing and integration testing
• Commitment to best coding practices, code reviews, and open feedback
• Great communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Ability to improve team culture and processes
• Strong product mindset with passion for customer experience and data-driven decision making
• Ability to work independently, taking end-to-end ownership of projects to achieve goals
