What you'll be doing

Work with your team to plan, scope, and build consistent experiences across Wise’s native applications and the web focusing on customer-centric features.
Collaborate closely with product, design (UI), analytics, and other teams as part of a cross-functional team to deliver impactful user experiences.
Take responsibility for the overall health and quality of the iOS project.
Collaborate with other iOS and Android engineers to keep the iOS project current, using new technologies and best practices, ensuring consistency across platforms.
Maintain clean, maintainable, and efficient code to ensure responsive application performance, optimal load times, and stability.

Requirements

Proven experience building and deploying apps that delight customers.
Proficiency in Swift.
Familiarity with software architectural patterns such as MVC, MVVM, or VIPER (with openness to new approaches).
Desire to write testable code.
Understanding of REST API design.
Strong product mindset and passion for user experience, making data-driven decisions to solve user problems.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as independently and proactively solve problems.

Experience with SwiftUI, Structured Concurrency, or CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
Familiarity with internationalisation patterns for multi-market apps.
Fintech background (not required).
