Requirements

• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and experience with complex deployments (TCP/IP, routing/switching, load-balancing/ECMP, firewalls, IPSEC, GRE, security policies, Network ACLs, BGP)
• Experience in SRE and Network automation (IaaC, Python, Ansible, Netconf, CI/CD, telemetry)
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking concepts, preferably AWS (VPCs, transit gateways, direct-connect, VPC peering)
• Experience developing and documenting network designs
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical solutions for stakeholders
• Self-starter with strong reliability, scalability, security, privacy, risk, and compliance mindset
• Effective communication skills tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable working autonomously within a flat organizational structure
• Technical leadership experience or leading small teams/projects is a plus

Nice to Haves

• JNCIS/CCNP-level knowledge
• Familiarity with Linux networking for non-trivial tasks (routing protocols, IPsec tunnels)
• Software development experience, especially with Java microservices on Kubernetes

• Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Wise and complex financial systems
• Develop scalable, repeatable architecture addressing complex regulatory requirements
• Analyze infrastructure to identify inefficiencies and create automation and optimization
• Collaborate with platform and product engineering teams on globally impactful projects
• Communicate with stakeholders to plan roadmaps and manage project scope and delivery
• Influence technology direction and advocate excellence internally and with third parties
