• Experience working with large scale distributed systems
• Years of Java 8+ knowledge
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, query optimisation and designing schemas
• Strong product mindset and passion for customer experience, prioritising work with customers in mind and making data-driven decisions to fix customer pain-points
• Enjoy collaborating with others and bringing people together to solve a problem
• Experience in designing, deploying and maintaining clean RESTful APIs
• Believe in and follow best coding practices, code reviews and open feedback
• Enjoy writing testable code and believe in Test Driven Development

Nice to haves

• Experience with Spring Boot
• Worked with BFFs (Backend-for-Frontends)
