What You'll Be Doing

Design and implement scalable services focusing on reliability, observability, operability, and efficiency.
Collaborate with partner teams and domain architects on system design and services integration.
Define the vision and assemble feature roadmaps.
Work with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, BigTable, and Istio.
Champion a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and blameless retrospection to strengthen engineering processes and culture.
Participate in on-call rotation to respond to and triage issues.

Requirements

4+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficient in Java; familiarity with Python, Scala, or PHP is a plus.
Proven ability to design, build, and deploy high-quality software.
Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software design principles, and object-oriented programming.
Skilled in designing and developing APIs.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB preferred.
Passionate about new technologies and able to implement them in existing products.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Experience with message queues and/or streaming data systems like Kafka or PubSub.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Service (AWS), or Azure.
Experience deploying and operating microservices on Kubernetes.

Work from the assigned office a minimum of 3 days per week, fostering community and in-person collaboration.
