What you'll be doing

• Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software features and services for the Credit platform used by global partners.
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code using Java/Kotlin across the full software development lifecycle.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decisions shaping the platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure platform reliability and performance.
• Review peer code and provide constructive feedback to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Improve engineering practices, tooling, and processes within the team.
• Partner with cross-functional teams across Expedia Group to deliver end-to-end B2B experiences for travel agent partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, focusing on scalable, distributed system design and building.
• Proficiency with JVM languages such as Java and Kotlin.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Effective communication skills in English and ability to collaborate in distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously in a fast-paced agile environment.
