Engineering Manager - Observability | Germany | Remote

Requirements:

• Experience in Observability or building a central control plane for managing fleets of collectors
• Ability to collaborate with autonomous engineering teams
• Stay updated on technical trends and shifts
• Comfortable working across time zones and cultures in a remote environment
• Manage complexity, align stakeholders, and elevate team performance
• Customer-focused with a strong understanding of distributed systems principles
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tooling

Nice to Haves:

• Previous experience in Observability, especially OpenTelemetry

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage and develop a remote team of backend and frontend engineers
• Collaborate with go-to-market teams for customer success
• Work with product and engineering leadership on continuous improvement
• Guide projects from ideation to post-launch consistently
• Foster a psychologically safe environment for innovation and continuous improvement
• Collaborate across team boundaries and partner with other functions
