Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
Proven experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
Strong understanding of observability and monitoring practices, including experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work confidently across both Unix based systems (Ubuntu, RHEL, or similar distributions) and Windows environments.
Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Powershell, Bash, or Go.
Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Jenkins or Github Actions.
Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and infrastructure architecture patterns.
Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Embracing agentic engineering — willingness and ability to work effectively with AI-assisted development tools as part of daily workflow.

Nice to Haves

Experience with container technologies beyond Kubernetes (Docker, container, etc).
Knowledge of GitOps workflows and tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
Experience with security and secrets management practices using Hashi Corp Vault.
Understanding of storage systems and how they integrate with modern systems architecture.
Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
Self-organised with the ability to prioritise and effectively manage time across multiple projects.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in technical communities is a plus.
