Software Engineer II

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Professional technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements

Nice to Haves

• Relevant industry software design and development experience working with a major programming/scripting language (C++, C#, Java, Python)
• Strong design, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and communicate technical content to general audiences
• Experience of leveraging the latest AI technologies in real-world software solutions
• Ability to resolve ambiguities effectively, prioritize and drive projects to completion, prioritize between multiple needs, and adapt to changing circumstances
• Demonstrated history of promoting engineering excellence within a team
• Attention to detail and passion for great design
• Obsession for great end user experiences and outcomes
• Ability to grow and maintain organizational and interpersonal relationships

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, implementing, and shipping engineering and data products that transform how Windows is built and shipped
• Forging partnerships and collaborating with others across engineering and product/program management disciplines within W+D
• Driving scenarios and influencing technical direction across teams
• Mentoring less experienced engineers
• Contributing to building and maintaining a culture and environment that engenders continuous learning and open collaboration

Perks and Benefits

• The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 63,400.00 - € 105,700.00 per year
