Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
Ability to own problem areas and deliver results with minimal direction.
Good collaboration and communication skills in English.
Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools and applying AI in software engineering workflows.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including passing Microsoft background checks.

Nice to Haves

Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Experience with Azure services.
Web development skills (ASP.NET, React, etc.).
Experience with AI/ML technologies, generative AI, large language models, or building AI-powered applications and services.
Experience with SQL and Kusto.

Design and develop features for Visual Studio subscriptions and benefits.
Build and improve the Developer Community platform to enhance engagement between customers and Visual Studio engineers.
Design and build AI-powered features and automation for customer, engineering, and operational scenarios.
Use AI-assisted engineering tools effectively across development, debugging, testing, and operational workflows.
Build data-driven features and automation to improve operational efficiency and customer engagement.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and operate secure, reliable production services.
Drive engineering quality through design and code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and collaboration with Microsoft partner teams.
